  • New Mexico State Library

    The NM State Library provides services that support public libraries as well as delivers direct library services to rural populations, state agencies, the visually impaired and physically disabled, and students and citizens conducting research. The State Library is a division of the Department of Cultural Affairs.

  • New Mexico Library Association

    The New Mexico Library Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the support and promotion of libraries and the development of library personnel through education and the exchange of ideas to enrich the lives of all New Mexicans.

  • American Library Association

    The American Library Association provides leadership for the development, promotion and improvement of library and information services and the profession of librarianship in order to enhance learning and ensure access to information for all.

  • NM Rural Library Initiative

    The mission of the New Mexico Rural Library Initiative (NMRLI) is to secure a $1 million state funded endowment for each of 55 rural and pueblo libraries.

  • Historical Society of New Mexico

    The NM Historical Society works to increase and disseminate knowledge of New Mexico and the Southwest Borderlands history through research, publications, and educational outreach, as well as to encourage the preservation of historic objects and property.

  • New Mexico Acequia Association

    The NMAA works to protect water and our acequias, to grow healthy food for our families and communities, and to honor our cultural heritage.

  • New Mexico Humanities Council

    The New Mexico Humanities Council seeks to engage New Mexicans with history, culture, and diverse humanities topics through public programming. Imaginative and accessible programs start conversations that lead to a greater understanding of and interest in the richness of our human experience and heritage.

  • Northern Rio Grande Heritage Area

    The Northern Rio Grande National Heritage Area works to sustain the communities, heritages, languages, cultures, traditions, and environment of Northern New Mexico through partnerships, education and interpretation.
