When was the Library founded?

The Library was founded in 1998.

Where is the Library & Cultural Center located and when are you open?

El Pueblo de Abiquiú Library & Cultural Center is located in the village of Abiquiu, directly across from the Santo Tomas Church. Parking is available in front of the Library. The Library is open Tuesday - Friday from 12N - 5P; and Saturdays from 10A - 3P.

How can I get a library card and what is your policy for checking out books?

Anyone can get a library card. Come see us and we can issue you a card - just bring your id. Books and magazines, etc can be checked out and kept for a period of 3 weeks

What other services do you offer?

We offer printing, copies and fax services. We also provide Notary Public services. There is free WiFi (high speed internet) and there are computers for your use.

Can the Library be rented or used for events or meetings?

Our library is small, but its the perfect place to host a smaller meeting (capacity is about 15 people). It also works for events! Give us a call and we can discuss rental fees and protocols.

What kind of programs do you offer?

The library is working on new programs & events for Fall/Winter 2023 and 2024.

What tours do you offer?

We offer walking tours of the Abiquiu Village. Call us to schedule a tour or learn more.
